Yes. Teardrop flags are available with either single-sided or double-sided printing, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your display requirements.

3. What material are teardrop flags made from?
Teardrop flags are made from 110gsm UFabrik Flag Textile, a lightweight, knitted polyester fabric designed for flag printing.
The material is designed to provide vibrant printed graphics and good show-through, helping designs remain visible through the fabric.
4. How are teardrop flags printed?
Teardrop flags use dye-sublimation printing, which uses heat to set vibrant inks into the polyester fabric.
The supplied material specifications recommend a fixation temperature of 190–200°C for 45–60 seconds. These are material-processing specifications rather than customer setup instructions.
5. What finishing is included?
Teardrop flags feature hemmed edges and a pole pocket to accommodate the flagpole. The pole pocket is black only.
A premium fabric carry case is included to help with transportation and storage.
6. What base options are available?
Choose a base to suit the surface and location where you plan to display your flag.
Ground Spike
A budget-friendly metal base designed for soft ground, such as fields. It's a practical choice for temporary displays and one-day events.
20 Litre Base
A sturdy, square base that can be filled with up to 20 litres of water for added stability.
30 Litre Tyre Base
A heavier base that holds up to 30 litres of water, providing additional weight for outdoor displays.
2-Pronged Tyre Base
Designed to sit beneath a vehicle tyre. Simply position the base and roll the tyre over it to help secure the flag.
Always choose a base appropriate for the ground conditions and expected weather. No base can guarantee stability in all wind conditions.
7. Can teardrop flags be used indoors and outdoors?
Yes. Teardrop flags are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The full-fibre flagpole is lightweight and durable, with a stated wind-speed tolerance of up to 45kph. Actual stability depends on factors such as wind exposure, the mounting surface and the base used.
For safety and to help protect your flag, remove it during extreme weather and store it safely indoors.
8. How long does a teardrop flag last?
A flag typically lasts around 4 to 6 months, although its lifespan depends on exposure to weather, frequency of use and how well it is maintained.
Follow the care instructions below to help keep your flag in good condition for as long as possible.
9. How should I clean and care for my teardrop flag?
To maintain the quality and longevity of your flag:
Wash at 30°C: Hand-wash or machine-wash using regular household detergent.
Dry flat: Allow the flag to dry flat.
Do not iron: Avoid ironing to help maintain the fabric's quality.
Remove in extreme weather: Take the flag down and store it safely indoors during unsuitable weather conditions.
Allow free rotation: Ensure there's enough space for the flag to rotate freely around its pole.
Take care in wet conditions: When first used in wet weather, some colour may run. Washing the flag after use can help address this.
10. Are teardrop flags recyclable?
Yes. The polyester flag and flagpole can be recycled. The flag textile is also specified as PVC-free and recyclable.
