How do I upload my artwork?

Once you’ve added a product to your basket from one of our product pages, you’ll be prompted to upload and approve your artwork. 

You can either follow these steps or continue shopping and upload artwork in your basket afterwards.

Uploading a complete design: We would recommend this option if you already have artwork created on your computer and need to upload it to our tool.

Customise a free template: We have an extensive range of templates that fit all occasions, create your material with using our free designs. 

Create your own design: Create your artwork from scratch using our free and easy to use design tool.

If you upload a design rather than using our online proofing tool, it will perform checks to ensure your design to ensure the size and resolution are correct for printing.

After selecting the file from your computer, you'll see a tick to let you know that the artwork has been received

The tool will then perform some artwork checks for you.

Next, you will need to check your proof and make sure you're happy to approve it for print, you can do that by clicking 'View Your Proof', we would recommend making sure text and images are within the red safety area to ensure all important elements are secure and won't be trimmed off.

If you're happy with your design, tick to confirm that you've reviewed the proof and click 'approve for print'.

If you aren't prompted to upload your artwork when you add your chosen product to the basket, head to your basket where you can upload it there.

Some products, such as booklets, require extra proofing and set-up from our team. When you place these products in your basket, you'll be prompted to send your artwork via email or wetransfer.com after you’ve placed your order. Simply send your artwork to us at artwork@instantprint.co.uk using your order number as the subject line.
