What is transparency?

When you create a design, your file is often made up of multiple layers - each one holding different design elements.

If the top layer in your PDF doesn’t have transparency, it can block the layers underneath when printed. That means parts of your design might not show up the way you intended.

To avoid this, we recommend flattening your layers before uploading your artwork. This merges everything into one layer, so nothing gets accidentally hidden or missed.

Not sure how to flatten layers? No problem! We’ve put together an easy-to-follow guide to help you through it and make sure your print comes out looking perfect. Just follow this process, add your product to the basket and it will proof without an issue!
