What is GSM?

‘Gsm’ refers to how thick, or heavy, the material we print on is. It stands for ‘Grams per Square Metre’ and the higher the number, the thicker the paper. For example, standard business card paper is 400gsm, but our premium range is a thicker 450gsm. Flyers are traditionally thinner, ranging from 150gsm (as thin as a takeaway menu) to 350gsm (as thick as a birthday card).
