Do I need to add bleed to my artwork?

Yes – we recommend adding bleed to your design from the start, as it helps avoid any white edges when your print is trimmed. For most products, you'll need to add 3mm of bleed, but some items, like PVC banners, may need a bit more.

Adding bleed during the design stage is the easiest way to make sure your final print looks perfect.

If you forget to add it, our Studio team will try to add it for you. If that’s not possible, we may need to use a white or black border to act as bleed, which might show slightly after trimming. You’ll always see a proof before anything goes to print, so you can check it looks just right.
